CURRENT SITUATION ON THE OUTDATED VERSIONS OF THE SOFTWARE
In 2012 we launched Aumentaty Author, a tool that provides a basic way for creating augmented reality scenes. With a simple drag-and-drop operation, Aumentaty Author allow scenes to be generated easily.
Technology keeps evolving and we must create new tools that adapt to the new demands of the market. That is why we have recently launched Aumentaty Creator and Scope App. We recommend you to try them out and familiarize yourself with their new features and the new ones that will be added in the following months.
Regarding our beloved Author, we are informing that we will no longer give any kind of support or update for any discontinued product, although since we have received so many requests, we are putting back the option for downloading these software back on our website for those who want to keep using it.
We want to thank all the Aumentaty Author users, the messages of affection and congratulations that throughout these years you have sent us.
We answer some questions we received in our support service:
- What happens with the old versions of the programs?
The Author and Viewer tools are outdated versions and have no support. These are replaced by Creator and Scope respectively.
- Can I share scenes?
The online sharing service for sharing scenes in Author is disabled. You can only share scenes locally and manually.
- Can I create a new user to use Author?
Since the platform is discontinued, the new user registration service is deactivated. Users who use the cell phone can not use their credentials to change the custom logo when exporting the scenes.
- Can I still use Author without an account?
You can still use Author without having to login in any way. What’s not available is the online sharing service and the custom logo editing.
- Are the download links for Author and PC Viewer always available?
At the moment it is available, but we can not guarantee it’ll be available forever.
